1 of 1 people found the following review helpful The Bust Sub I have ever used!, April 17, 2012 This review is from: Kicker 12" Solo-Baric L7 Car Subwoofer 4 OHM DVC 11S12L74 (Electronics) I have used many subs in the past, Pioneer, Apline, Rockford Fosgate, etc. I have to say I had never used a kicker setup before and I had a strong preference towards Rockford fosgate since I never once had a problem with them, But Kicker is very nice. In my opinion from use, Kicker and Fosgate can't be beat. This sub hits so hard. I have the 2011 Kicker 750.1 that is underrated at 750watts @ 2ohms, It has a birth sheet rating of 935 watts RMS and powers this nicely. 4 of 6 people found the following review helpful Crazy sub, September 4, 2011 This review is from: Kicker 12" Solo-Baric L7 Car Subwoofer 4 OHM DVC 11S12L74 (Electronics) I used to run 2 12" round subs in a ported box but I wanted to downsize since I now have a small car. Had old box in my ext cab of my truck and it took it all up. Well I wanted a trunk in my car, so I put this in a compact sealed custom made box to manuals instructions(14.5x14.5x11.5). Running it parallel @ 750 rms from a HFi 1000.1 mono amp(great combo) and this thing hits HARD. I was surprised by the spl but when u run it on lower setting the sq is amazing. I don't care what other people say the sq runs just as good as an alpine type-r . Used to think kickers were crap cuz all my friends that had them ran they loud. U run them with more sq instead of spl and ull have a sub that will impress all with the quality then run the boost up and rattle their brains out Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
